Tonya McMillian, MBA, Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer and founding partner of ProActive Management Consulting, LLC since inception in April 2003. Ms. McMillian has over 10 years of corporate and entrepreneur experience in consulting, training, project management, process improvement and industrial engineering. Before starting PMC, Ms. McMillian was a Project Manager, Change Management Consultant and Process Engineer at Delta Airlines. She was responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring key project management tools that provide visibility to the project’s progress throughout its life-cycle, responsible for designing and implementing CM tools and methodologies for various departments and providing key process improvements in multiple production and business areas. She also worked with Texas Instruments/Raytheon Systems as an Industrial Engineer responsible for managing and completing successful project and product implementations for top-secret equipment on Defense contracts. She is a native of Columbia, SC and received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Florida and M.B.A in International Business at Georgia State University.

Irene S. Houston, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, Director of Services
Licensed Professional Counselor for the States of South Carolina and Georgia. Nationally Certified Counselor with more than 30 years of experience as a practicing clinician. Educator with extensive experience in community mental health services, human services, program planning, community-based organization administration, program development, technical assistance, policy research, advocacy and network coalition building. Faculty member at two major Research I universities in the Southeast. Lead presenter of research and scholarly work at numerous local, state, national and international professional conferences and educational meetings. Program coordinator, project facilitator and administrator of various communities, educational and governmental agency projects. Author of published works in refereed professional journals and books. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills by interacting with multiple organizations to facilitate effective, efficient, culturally competent client-based delivery of services. Educational background includes; Ph.D. in Counselor Education, Ed.S. in Community Agency Counseling, M.A. in Religious Studies and B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina.
Wanda Nunn, Ed. S., LPC, Clinical Director
Professional Licensed Clinical practitioner in the South Carolina and Georgia with more than 15 years experience working with children and adolescents. Extensive clinical experience working with youth with special needs and children identified as at-risk for behavioral concerns. Serve as a school-based child and adolescent counselor through county Mental Health Centers. Presenter of research and scholarly work at local, state, national and international conferences and meetings. Community activist and organizer to promote equity in service provision for enfranchised members of the community. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills to facilitate effective, efficient, culturally competent client-based delivery of services. Educational background includes the following degrees: Educational Specialist in Counselor Education, and Masters of Education in Student Personnel Services, University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina, and Bachelor of Arts in History, College of Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina.
